To plan and support programs which honor and show respect to our veterans.

To honor the memory of all veterans no longer with us.

To assist veterans in healing from war.

To educate all generations about the role of veterans in America and that the price of freedom is not free.

To annually take part in and support AMVETS’ “Rolling to Remember” and their efforts for government accountability of POW/MIAs and to raise awareness of the suicide epidemic and other issues impacting veterans, their families, and survivors.

Participate in the National Veterans Awareness Ride, from Auburn CA to Washington DC

Provide support for ROTC programs in schools.

Provide POW/MIA flags to schools to remind students of the cost of freedom.

Participate in local memorial services.

Speak in schools about service to our communities and to our country.

Provide meals, housing necessities and financial assistance to veterans in need.

Build recreation equipment for VA homes.

Deliver “Thank You” cards from students to veterans in hospitals.

Donate to the NVAO

The National Veterans Awareness Organization is a 501C3 Non-Profit Corporation. Donations are gratefully accepted and are fully tax deductible. Donations help fund the design and production of 4,000 ride pins that are awarded to veterans in homes/hospitals and civilians who help us accomplish our mission, medals awarded to veterans of the Mideast conflicts, pins for spouses whose partners have served in Mideast conflicts, fuel/oil for the chase truck,  wreaths for memorial services, and financial assistance when we find a veteran in need. Checks should be made out to NVAO and sent to Jim Grant, NVAO Treasurer, 1565 Farmington Dr., Kettering, OH 45420.
