During the Memorial Day weekend, the NVAO lays a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.  On Sunday, all are encouraged to participate in the annual Rolling to Remember demonstration ride to reinforce our commitment to account for our country’s POWs and MIAs and to keep them foremost in the minds and priorities of our governmental officials.

The primary event for NVAO each year is a 13 day motorcycle journey across the United States. Each day of travel involves stops at veteran hospitals and veteran homes to visit, spend time, and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice. A typical day will also include a stop at a memorial or cemetery for a time of remembrance or a visit to a school to share our belief in service to our community and our country.
