  1. They came to my school closer to the end of their ride. They come every year but this year I got the chance to speak at the assembly and then talk to Dave Clemons afterwards. Amazing people and one of the greatest things I’ve experienced at my school yet!

    1. Thank you Alli.
We look forward to our Southeastern School visit each year, proud to have Dave, a Southeastern graduate, ride with us. The welcome we received this year was nothing less than a spectacular surprise. (I wondered why no one was outside when we arrived!!! Simply awesome.) Your recognition, along with that of your classmates, to America’s veterans is commendable.
      Wish you all the best.

    WELCOME TO WEST VIRGINIA!
I met some of the 2021 NVAO group last year in Morgantown, WV.
Absolutely wonderful Veterans sharing their stories with me!
    Thank you, Gentlemen, for sharing!
I will be watching for you all along I-68 East tomorrow.

Please keep an eye on the Weather Channel app and the FEMA ALERT app.
Supposed to rain, severe thunderstorms going across toward DC.
They were alerting for Coastal Flooding at DC.
I know you will be careful on your journey.

I keep praying and asking the Lord to give you all cloudless blue skies all
the way to Washington DC and on your ride home to California.

    To each of you,
Thank you for your sacrifice and service to this great Nation. 🇺🇸
    WELCOME HOME! 🌹

The LORD goes before you…HE is your rear guard.

    1. Thank you Janet for your kind words and prayers. As Wayne, our Ride Chaplan, says in his story, “God, the motorcycle, and the road”, we appreciate the good after enduring the less than best! We look forward to visiting WV each year.
      Wish you all the best.

  3. We (Amy , Mike’s sister & Tom) rode a short distance with you today from Waverly exit to Council Bluffs. I’ve always known Mike had a passion for this ride & today I learned why. You are a special group and I thank you for honoring Veterans.
Thank you all & Ride Safe.

  5. Mike,
Thank you for the daily situation reports. I hope you do not mind, I have taken the liberty to email it to our American Legion Riders Post 84 Auburn California. Sorry I was not able this year to ride or help with the send-off and I pray that everyone will have a meaningful and safe trip across America.
    GOD Bless,

    1. Doc,
Thanks for your post. You may certainly share our posts. We appreciate your support as one of thousands and thousands that we represent. We know riders desire to make every ride, once you’ve been on it, it takes hold; but understand not all can make every ride.
Thank you, and we look forward to meeting next year.
      Be Well Brother.

    1. Nancy,
Your support is a motivation and inspiration for riders to fulfill the mission each year, and it would be difficult without the leadership of Jerry.
      Thank you.
      Wish you all the best.
