NVAO Members,
There have been inquiries about a reunion for 2026. It is really late to try to put anything together for this year. However, there is an annual event that might work for an opportunity for us to be able to meet up and spend time together. Each year, there is a veteran’s reunion in Kokomo, IN. This year it is planned for September 13-20. It is officially called the Howard County All Veterans Reunion and the website is hcvvo.net. Campsites are available for RV’s and there are several hotels in Kokomo. Check the website and click on the tabs at top of homepage. Although NVAO will not be having any scheduled plans or activities, it would still be a nice venue for a get together. Everyone would need to make their own arrangements for accommodations, etc. 6-8 of our group from Michigan City and Ohio have already made plans to attend this year. They plan to arrive late of Wednesday, Sept. 16th and depart on Sunday, Sept. 20. If you plan to attend, send a text or email to Wylie and we will make sure we can all meet up and “hang out”.
