Our 2024 Ride will begin in:

The National Veterans Awareness Organization (NVAO) began in 2005 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring all veterans. Coming from diverse backgrounds and from throughout the nation and Europe, our members have a common goal: to remember and honor those who have defended our country.

What is the National Veterans Awareness Organization:

Our mission is to remember, honor and support veterans and those currently serving in all branches of the military. This is accomplished through local activities for veterans and participation in the National Veterans Awareness Ride.

Follow The Ride on Facebook Our Mission:

The NVAR is a 13 day event each May in which we ride from Auburn, CA to Washington, DC. The 3 major parts of the ride are: 1. Each day, we visit Veterans Homes and Hospitals to let the vets know they are not forgotten, 2. We participate in memorial services, laying wreaths and showing our respect for vets who have come before us, 3. We visit schools and talk with students about giving back to their communities, serving our nation and showing respect for our military veterans. Click Here to follow our daily Situation Reports.

The National Veterans Awareness Ride:

Each day of the National Veterans Awareness Ride, our activities are posted on our website. Our Sit Rep writers have beautifully captured the experiences and the emotions of our trek across this great country.
