The National Veterans Awareness Organization (NVAO) began in 2005 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring all veterans. Coming from diverse backgrounds and from throughout the nation and Europe, our members have a common goal: to remember and honor those who have defended our country.

What is the National Veterans Awareness Organization:

Our mission is to remember, honor and support veterans and those currently serving in all branches of the military. This is accomplished through local activities for veterans and participation in the National Veterans Awareness Ride.

The National Veterans Awareness Ride is an annual, 13 day motorcycle journey across the United States.  Each day, we stop at Veterans Administration Hospitals and Homes to visit and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice.  A typical day also includes participation in a local memorial service or a visit to a school to share our belief in service to our community and country.
