Daily Participant Bio: Tim Denlinger

Tim, whose road name is Dingo, served in the US Army. Tim volunteered and served from June 10, 1980, to June 9, 1986. He was an 05 Charlie which is a radio teletype operator. Tim was never overseas; he was stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Fort Gordon, Georgia, and Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

When asked why he participates in the NVAR, Tim said, “I got involved with the NVAR through Terri Hoops, who was a close friend of our families and as long as I’m healthy, I’ll probably never miss it again. It’s one of the most moving things I’ve ever done and is very, very important to me.
