Here is the photo of Quacker’s hat
Heading into the Salt Lake VA we had about 60 moto police escorts to get us thru traffic. We had a great visit with the vets. I saw the 2 tortoises in their courtyard while we ate a great lunch.
In Evanston, We laid a wreath at a memorial and had a group of preschoolers say the Pledge. They did a great job. we also had choir sing a few songs for us before we headed to dinner.
I’ll post photos soon.
We had a cool start to the ride this morning with Temps in the 40s but it warmed up later in the day.
Some of our riders had to turn back and head home after breakfast. A good friend, Don Jenkins from Oregon was one of them. His road name is “Quackers” since, well he is from Oregon and is a huge Oregon Ducks fan. This year he brought a hat that I just had to grab a photo to share with everyone. Safe travels to everyone headed home.
