NVAO Update – 8 Jan 24

NVAO Members,

Some NVAR participants enjoy staying in Virginia City, NV on the way to Auburn, CA for the start of the National Veterans Awareness Ride. The motel where we stay (The Silverland Inn) has undergone a change in ownership. The prices of rooms at the Silverland have gone up a lot. Sandy Kintzele has negotiated with the new management and got them to agree to keep the prices the same as in previous years for our NVAR riders.

However, the way we reserve our rooms this year is different from in the past. To reserve your room you must click on the following link and follow the instructions. DO NOT CALL THE MOTEL to make your reservations! You have to use this link to get the low prices: “CLICK HERE” (to make your Virginia City Reservation)

For your reference, The Silverland Inn is at 100 East Street, Virginia City, NV. We have 20 rooms blocked on May 11 and 12. 9 Kings at $79 plus tax, 11 Doubles at $89 plus tax. (If fewer than 15 rooms are used, they’ll add $5/room.

PS: We’ll soon have room information and pricing for the Rodeway Motel in Auburn, CA and post it on the NVAO.US website.
